CRM – Zapier Enhancements for Lead Updates and Expanded Triggers
We’ve introduced significant improvements to our Zapier integration, enhancing how leads are created, updated, and synced between AgentLocator and external systems. These updates improve data accuracy, automation flexibility, and overall usability.
What’s New
- Improved “Create Lead” Event Logic
- When using the “Create” event in Zapier, the system will first check for existing leads using an exact email match.
- If a match is found, the lead will be updated instead of duplicated.
Update behaviour includes:
- Email notification sent to the agent outlining updated fields
- System note created in the lead profile
- Tags are added without duplication
- Source, lead type, and status are updated only if new values are provided
- The pipeline is updated only if the new value is greater than the current one
- The site is updated only if the lead is not already registered and a lead gen site is selected
Note: First name, last name, phone, and description follow the same logic as the existing “Update” event.
- Expanded Lead Data for Zapier Triggers
The “New Lead” trigger now includes additional fields:
- Lead type
- Main agent
- Custom fields
- Seller’s city
- Zip code
- Address
- New Zapier Triggers for Real-Time Updates
We’ve introduced new triggers to allow more dynamic syncing with external systems:
- Pipeline change
- Email change
- Email validity change
- Phone number change
- Phone number validity change
- Incoming email received
- Lead name updated
- New tags added
Why This Matters
These updates significantly reduce duplicate leads, improve synchronization accuracy, and provide more flexibility for automation workflows between AgentLocator and third-party tools.
Value to Users
- Cleaner CRM with reduced duplicate leads
- More accurate and controlled lead updates
- Enhanced automation capabilities via Zapier
- Greater visibility into lead activity and changes
- Improved integration with external systems
Feeds/CMS – Area Filter Now Available in Search Bar
We’ve improved the property search experience by making “Area” values searchable directly from the main search bar. This update ensures that users can find properties using commonly referenced location names without needing to navigate additional filters.
What’s New
- The Area filter is now mapped to the main search bar.
- Users can enter location names that may be categorized as area, community, or municipality.
- Previously, these values were only accessible through the “More” filters, which often resulted in no results when typed directly into the search bar.
Why This Matters
Users often search using familiar area names rather than formal city or municipality labels. This update bridges that gap and ensures more intuitive search behaviour.
Value to Users
- Reduced “no results” scenarios
- More natural search experience
- Faster access to relevant listings
- Improved usability across all site templates
CMS – DDF Search Dropdown – Results Based on Enabled Sub-Boards
We’ve refined the DDF search experience to ensure that users are presented with more relevant and localized search results. Dropdown suggestions will now align with the agent’s configured sub-boards, improving accuracy across the platform.
What’s New
- Search dropdown suggestions (City, Address, Community, Area) are now restricted to the agent’s enabled sub-boards instead of the full board.
- This update applies consistently across:
- Website search pages
- Interactive map search
- CRM search modals
Why This Matters
Previously, users could see and select locations outside of the agent’s service area, which could lead to confusion or irrelevant results. This update ensures that all search suggestions are aligned with the areas the agent actually serves.
Value to Users
- More relevant and accurate search suggestions
- Improved user experience with localized results
- Reduced confusion from out-of-area listings
- Better alignment between search inputs and available inventory
This improvement ensures that users can search with confidence, knowing that the results will reflect the agent’s actual market coverage.
Feeds – Standardized City and Municipality Values Across Platform
We’ve improved how city and municipality names are displayed and grouped across the platform by consolidating duplicate values that differ only in capitalization. This ensures a cleaner interface and more accurate search results.
What’s New
- City and municipality names that vary only by capitalization (e.g., “McDonough” vs. “Mcdonough”) are now merged into a single value.
- The displayed version will be based on the format with the highest number of listings.
- All listings associated with these variations are combined under one unified entry.
- This update is applied globally across:
- Search results
- Property grids
- Saved Listing Searches (SLS)
- Community pages
- All property statuses and feed types
Why This Matters
Previously, capitalization inconsistencies could split listings across multiple filter options, leading to incomplete results and confusion. This update ensures that all relevant listings are grouped together under one standardized value.
Value to Users
- Cleaner and more professional filter experience
- More accurate and complete search results
- Reduced duplication and confusion in location filters
- Improved consistency across CRM and CMS
Feeds – Pillar 9 – Improved Basement Filters and Data Accuracy
We’ve redesigned how basement data is handled in the Pillar 9 feed to improve accuracy and eliminate mismatched search results. The previous single-basement filter has been replaced with three structured filters for a more precise search experience.
What’s New
- The original basement filter has been split into three distinct filters:
- Basement Type (e.g., Full, Crawl Space)
- Basement Development (e.g., Finished, Unfinished)
- Basement Features (e.g., Walk-Out, Separate Entrance)
- Improved parsing of basement data received from the feed, which is typically sent as a single, unstructured text string.
- Existing Saved Listing Searches (SLS) will be automatically updated to align with the new filter structure.
- Full Property Details pages will now display more accurate and clearly categorized basement information.
Why This Matters
Previously, the system could not reliably distinguish between basement attributes due to inconsistent data formatting. This resulted in inaccurate matches (e.g., unfinished basement searches returning finished basements). The new structure ensures precise filtering and eliminates these inconsistencies.
Value to Users
- More accurate search results with reduced mismatches
- Better control when filtering basement-related features
- Improved clarity in property details
- Seamless transition with automatic updates to existing saved searches
This update significantly enhances search precision and data clarity, ensuring leads only see properties that truly match their criteria.
